This photoshoot was in a smaller venue on the outskirts of Cardiff. It was arranged by Ren, (Justin Drag).  The event was a cabaret night including Twm, (Polly Amorous) and was hosted by Justin Drag.

 I had already worked a plan of how long it would take to get there and what I may need as far as equipment was needed. I took two camera bodies, lenses, tripod, flash unit, light meter, cards that were formatted and a set of flat shoes! The main photo shoot was to be inside the venue so again I took my flash unit if I needed it.

Arriving at the agreed time in the venue, Ren and Twm were there to greet me.  There were no preparation photographs needed just at the actual event on the night.

Twm was already there, getting ready along with Ren.  The dressing room was well-lit but not much space. The lighting in the room where the event was taking place was very poor, using similar lighting to Mary’s Nightclub.  I chose to try a different method of shooting but adjusted my camera’s settings to Fluorescent lighting, a higher iso and a wider aperture.  I hope it would be more successful.

During the evening I took a variety of shots not using flash and honestly hoping it would work. The night itself was filled with laughter and games, I was persuaded to go on the stage.  I could not stop laughing, I did have an amazing time.  Once the performance had come to an end, I had a selfie with both Justin Drag and Polly Amorous, I went home around 23:00.
